HIROTEC AMERICA Announces New Director
Auburn Hills, MI., July 14, 2009 –HIROTEC AMERICA, Inc. (HAI), an automotive supplier specializing in closure bodyshop tooling and hemming systems, announced that Paul DeMarco has been promoted to Director, Executive Vice President of Operations effective July 1, 2009.
IIn this new role, Paul will be responsible for managing the organization’s operations by directing and coordinating all activities consistent with corporate goals, objectives, and policies.
“Using his diverse experience while managing operations and mechanical design divisions, Paul will play a key role in promoting best practices throughout the organization. Also, his ability to combine lean design and manufacturing practices with out-of-the box thinking will further position the company to provide products and services that exceed customer expectations.” said Katsu Uno, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Paul joined HIROTEC AMERICA in 1993 as a Mechanical Design Leader and was first promoted to Assistant General Manager in 1998. Since then Paul has been promoted several more times, holding various positions within the company, such as General Manager, Vice President of Engineering, and Vice President of Operations.
